"Bhool Chuk Maaf" Crosses ₹47 Crore, Poised to Become 2025 Blockbuster

Rajkummar Rao and Vaani Gabbi's film, "Bhool Chuk Maaf," delivered a stellar performance on its eighth day, the second Friday of its release, grossing over ₹47 crore in India.

Bhool Chuk Maaf Box Office Collection Day 8: Rajkummar Rao and Vaani Gabbi's starrer, "Bhool Chuk Maaf," continues to be the talk of the box office. Upon its release, the film faced competition from Ajay Devgn's highly anticipated "Red 2," which had a significant market share upon opening. However, "Bhool Chuk Maaf" not only sustained itself but also steadily gained audience appreciation, establishing itself as a hit.

Impressive First Week Performance

"Bhool Chuk Maaf" surprised everyone by earning ₹7 crore on its opening day. This science-fiction romantic comedy is gaining popularity due to its unique concept and engaging screenplay. The film grossed a total of ₹44.1 crore in its first seven days, a remarkably b performance for a mid-budget film.

The film maintained its momentum into its second week. According to early trend reports by Sacnilk, the film earned ₹3.15 crore on its eighth day, the second Friday. With this, "Bhool Chuk Maaf's" total box office collection has reached ₹47.25 crore.

Close to Achieving Hit Status

The total budget of "Bhool Chuk Maaf" is estimated to be around ₹50 crore. Therefore, it only needs to earn an additional ₹2.75 crore to achieve hit status. Considering the current trends, it's safe to say the film will likely surpass this figure by Saturday or Sunday, securing its place among the 2025 hit films.

Audience response to the film has been overwhelmingly positive. Its futuristic plot and blend of romance and comedy are particularly popular among young audiences. Rajkummar Rao's performance is receiving significant praise, while Vaani Gabbi has also won over audiences with her acting.

Competing with "Red 2"

While Ajay Devgn's "Red 2" had a b box office opening, "Bhool Chuk Maaf" has solidified its position through positive word-of-mouth and b content. It's fair to say the film effectively competed with "Red 2," at least until mid-week.

According to Bollywood trade experts, the film's content and public response will determine its long-term success. With no major releases scheduled for the following week, "Bhool Chuk Maaf" is poised to benefit. If the film earns ₹10-12 crore in its second weekend, it could easily join the ₹60 crore club.
