Congress leader Salman Anees Soz also voiced his support for Vikram Misri. He criticized the social media trolling, stating, "Vikram Misri is a Kashmiri, and he has made the country proud. Any kind of trolling cannot diminish his work and service to the nation. If we cannot thank him, we should at least remain silent."
Vikram Misri's Background
Vikram Misri has had a long and distinguished career as India's Foreign Secretary. He studied at Hindu College, Delhi, and subsequently joined the Indian Foreign Service (IFS). Misri has served in Indian diplomatic missions in several countries, including China, Myanmar, and Spain. He was appointed Foreign Secretary in July 2023.
