Railway Recruitment 2025: Excellent news for young people seeking a railway career! The South East Central Railway (SECR) has announced a large-scale recruitment drive for apprentice positions. This recruitment is for a total of 1007 positions under the Nagpur Division and Motibag Workshop. Vacancy Details
- A total of 1007 apprentice positions will be filled under this recruitment drive.
- 919 positions are for the Nagpur Division.
- 88 positions are reserved for the Motibag Workshop.
- Selected candidates will receive training in their respective trades.
Educational Qualification
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Must have passed class 10th from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks.
- An ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate in the relevant trade is also mandatory.
Age Limit and Relaxation
The candidate's age should be a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of 24 years. Age will be calculated as of April 5, 2025. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to reserved category candidates as per government regulations:
- 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
- 3 years relaxation for OBC candidates
- 10 years relaxation for PWD candidates
Application Fee
- General/OBC/EWS candidates will have to pay an application fee of ₹100.
- No fee will be charged from SC/ST/PWD category candidates.
Stipend Details
Selected candidates will receive a regular stipend during their apprenticeship:
- ₹8050 per month for candidates who have completed a 2-year ITI course
- ₹7700 per month for candidates who have completed a 1-year ITI course
