Punjab News: Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the success of Operation Sindoor. He asserted that PM Modi's b diplomacy and clear vision led Pakistan to ultimately succumb to a ceasefire, forcing them to plead for it internationally, even going as far as Washington.
Pakistan Forced to Bow Before India
Badal stated that through Operation Sindoor, India delivered a resounding response to Pakistan, causing them international embarrassment. He added that Prime Minister Modi's diplomatic handling of the situation compelled Pakistan to beseech a ceasefire.
"Pakistan was forced to go to Washington, hands clasped, begging for a ceasefire. This is a result of Prime Minister Modi's b will and the bravery of the Indian Army," said Sukhbir Badal.
Targeting Political Critics
Badal also sharply criticized leaders questioning the ceasefire decision. He said these are the same individuals who enjoy the spectacle of war from their drawing rooms, lacking understanding of the real pain and loss.
He added, "Punjab has always borne the brunt of border warfare. It experiences the most shelling and suffers the most damage. The government acted wisely in halting the fighting."
'Sikh Community Always Stood With the Nation'
Badal also spoke about the Sikh community's patriotism. He said that in every crisis, the Sikh community has stood firmly with India. Sikhs serving in the armed forces have also served the nation at every level.
Accusing the Opposition of Parliament Session Politics
Badal also mentioned Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge's letter requesting PM Modi to convene a special session of Parliament. Kharge called for a discussion in Parliament on the April 22 Pehalgam attack, Operation Sindoor, and the ceasefire.
Badal criticized the opposition, stating that these leaders are making statements on serious issues like national security merely for political gain, lacking any genuine connection to the ground realities.
Congratulating the Indian Army
Sukhbir Badal congratulated the Indian Army on the success of Operation Sindoor, stating that their courage and sacrifice forced even an enemy like Pakistan to yield. He said, "The valor displayed by our soldiers is a matter of pride for the entire nation."
