Bareilly News: According to the railway's pink book 2025-26, yard re-modeling work will be carried out at Bareilly Junction at a cost of ₹48.90 crore. In addition, ₹9.74 crore will be spent on constructing two new washing lines for 26-coach trains. This step has further strengthened the possibility of Vande Bharat train operations from Bareilly to Mumbai. Several other improvement works will also be initiated expeditiously.
Large Budget for Bareilly Junction in Pink Book
The railway's pink book 2025-26 has been released after a long wait. The DRM of North Railway, Rajkumar Singh, recently inspected Bareilly Junction, where a special plan is being formulated for yard re-modeling. The budget allocation of ₹48.90 crore is expected to expedite the commencement of this work.
