India Launches 'Mission Pak Expose' Following Operation Sindur

New Delhi: The terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22, 2025, shook the nation. Following this attack, the Indian government adopted a b stance against terrorism. After Operation Sindur, aimed at crippling terrorist networks, India has launched another major initiative.

The Indian government is launching an international campaign to raise global awareness against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism, titled ‘Mission Pak Expose’. Under this mission, India is sending seven delegations to 32 countries. The delegations aim to expose Pakistan's double standards and strengthen India's fight against terrorism globally.

Mission Commences May 21

The mission begins on May 21. The first delegation will be led by Sanjay Jha, the working president of the Janata Dal United (JDU). This delegation will visit Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, and Singapore.

Key leaders in this delegation include:

  • BJP MP Aparajita Sarangi
  • TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee
  • BJP MP Brijlal
  • CPI MP Dr. John Brittas
  • Congress leader Salman Khurshid
  • BJP MP Hemang Joshi
  • BJP MP Pradan Baruah

This delegation will meet with governments, think tanks, and media outlets in these countries to present evidence of Pakistan's support and funding of terrorism.

Seven Delegations Deployed – Including Opposition and Ruling Parties

Significantly, the Indian government has included representatives from major opposition parties, not just the BJP. The delegations will comprise 51 leaders and 85 ambassadors, signaling a united Indian front against terrorism.

Second Delegation: Led by Shrikant Shinde

The second delegation departs on May 22, led by Shrikant Shinde, son of Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and a Shiv Sena MP. This delegation will also tour South and Southeast Asian countries.

Third Delegation: Led by Kanimozhi, Focusing on Europe

DMK MP Kanimozhi will lead the third delegation, initially visiting Russia, followed by Slovenia, Greece, Latvia, and Spain. This tour is strategically important, as these countries hold influential positions within the United Nations and the European Union.

Fourth Delegation: Shashi Tharoor to Lead US Visit

Congress leader and MP Shashi Tharoor will lead the fourth delegation, visiting the USA, Brazil, Panama, Colombia, and Guyana. In the US, the delegation will discuss intelligence partnerships and counter-terrorism strategies with their American counterparts.

Remaining Delegations to Depart Soon

According to the Indian government, the remaining three delegations will depart in late May and early June. These delegations aim not only to expose Pakistan's true face but also to foster global cooperation to create a unified global campaign against terrorism.

Why These 32 Countries?

These countries were selected for specific strategic reasons:

  • To expose the growing threat of terrorism in Africa and its links to Pakistan.
  • To highlight terror funding and Pakistan's strategic vulnerabilities in the Gulf countries.
  • To reach countries with influential roles in the UN Security Council in Europe.
  • To strengthen intelligence sharing and cooperation with the USA.
  • To bolster India's position in the Indo-Pacific region and maritime security in East Asia.

India to Present Concrete Evidence

These delegations will carry substantial documentation, videos, reports, and intelligence to expose Pakistan's role to the world. India aims to demonstrate that Pakistan not only supports terrorism but also uses it as a strategic weapon.

This initiative is not merely a diplomatic endeavor but a national security campaign. India aims to send a clear message that terrorism and its supporters will not be tolerated – neither domestically nor internationally.

What is Operation Sindur?

Operation Sindur was a recent major Indian operation targeting terrorist bases in Jammu and Kashmir. It resulted in the killing of numerous terrorists and the destruction of their bases. India has made it clear that the fight against terrorism will extend beyond borders, encompassing diplomatic, global, and strategic levels.
