Indian Railways has announced good news for passengers traveling from Delhi to Bhagalpur. A special train will run between New Delhi and Bhagalpur from May 11 to July 10. This train will depart at 2 PM on Sundays and Wednesdays.

New Delhi: Indian Railways has announced good news for passengers traveling from Delhi to Bihar. Passengers will now have access to a direct special train from New Delhi to Bhagalpur. This train will operate from May 11 to July 10, providing travelers with greater convenience.

New Delhi to Bhagalpur Special Train: Dates and Timings

Railways has announced the operation of special train number 04068/04067 between New Delhi and Bhagalpur. This train will depart from New Delhi at 2 PM on Sundays and Wednesdays from May 11 to July 10 and will arrive in Bhagalpur at 1:30 PM the next day. In return, this train will depart from Bhagalpur at 2:30 PM every Monday and Thursday from May 12 to July 10 and will reach New Delhi at 2:30 PM the next day.

Route of the Train

This special train will have both AC and general coaches and will stop at several major stations en route. The train will pass through Govindpuri, Prayagraj, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Junction, Buxar, Ara, Danapur, Patna, Bakhtiyarpur, Mokama, Hathidah, Lakhisarai, Kiul, Abhaypur, Jamalpur, and Sultanganj stations. The operation of this train will provide special convenience to passengers, especially those traveling from Delhi to Bhagalpur and surrounding areas.

Railway's Measures to Tackle Rainfall and Waterlogging

Recently, heavy rainfall and waterlogging affected train operations in Delhi. Keeping this in mind, the railway administration has issued instructions to take immediate steps to prevent waterlogging. All divisions have been instructed to identify waterlogged areas and make arrangements for water drainage.

Furthermore, considering the problem of waterlogging under Road Over Bridges (ROBs), ROB Mitra will be deployed. Railway officials have been instructed to regularly inspect all bridges and waterlogged areas to ensure prompt resolution of any issues.
