Ayodhya: Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram, is once again set to witness a historic and spiritually significant event. On June 5th, 2025, the Pran Pratishtha of the grand Ram Darbar within the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya is being conducted. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be the chief guest for this historic occasion. Coincidentally, this day also marks CM Yogi's birthday, adding a special significance to the event.
Commencement of the Pran Pratishtha Ceremony
This special puja (worship) began at 11:00 AM. Following Vedic traditions and mantras, the Pran Pratishtha of the idols in the Ram Darbar and the seven sub-shrines located in the four corners of the sanctum sanctorum is underway. 101 learned Acharyas (religious scholars) from across the country are conducting this Vedic ritual. The ceremony, characterized by Havan (sacred fire ritual), Abhishek (ablution), special mantras, and Vedic recitations, is taking place in an extremely sacred atmosphere.
The Pran Pratishtha in the Ram Darbar is being performed during the 'Abhijit Muhurat,' considered the most auspicious time of the day according to Vedic calendars. This Muhurat falls between 11:45 AM and 12:45 PM. During this special time, the life force will be awakened in the deity's idols, significantly enhancing the temple's spiritual energy.
