MRF Share Price Performance

MRF has once again secured the title of the most expensive stock on the Indian stock market. The price of a single share has reached ₹1,37,834, second only to Elcid Investment's previous record. Elcid Investment created a record in October 2024, rapidly increasing from ₹3.53 to ₹2.36 lakh, but its share price has currently settled around ₹1.29 lakh.

MRF's share price saw a 1.9% decline on Tuesday (June 3rd) and a 3.34% decrease throughout the week. However, the company's share gained 3.24% in May. Over the past two months, MRF's share price has increased by 22.54%. Year-to-date (YTD) from the beginning of 2025, the share has seen a 5.7% increase.

MRF's 52-week high was ₹1,47,000 (May 26, 2025), and its low was ₹1,02,000 (March 5, 2025).

Improved Financial Performance

MRF presented solid financial results for the March quarter of fiscal year 2024-25. The company's consolidated net profit increased by 33 percent to ₹492.74 crore, compared to ₹370.52 crore in the same period last year. During this period, the company's total operational income was ₹7,074.82 crore, an 11.4 percent increase year-on-year.

Operating profit (EBITDA) also increased by 17.8 percent to ₹1,043 crore, compared to ₹885 crore last year. The company's operating margin was 15 percent, better than the 14.3 percent recorded last year.

MRF vs Elcid Investment

While Elcid Investment's price surge was exceptionally rapid, a "flash spike," MRF's position remains b in terms of stability and reliability. MRF's robust business model, brand value, and larger market capitalization differentiate it from smaller-volume, small-cap stocks like Elcid.

MRF's b long-term performance and consistently improving financial health make it a robust and reliable investment option in the Indian stock market. In contrast, Elcid Investment's rapid price increase has proven volatile and erratic.
