Indian Actor Avinash Mishra Condemns Mahira Khan's Criticism of Airstrike

Following India's airstrike, Pakistan is experiencing a climate of outrage, clearly reflected in the social media behavior of its artists. Many Pakistani artists are making statements and continuously sharing posts on social media regarding this issue.

Avinash Mishra On Mahira Khan: Operation Sindhur, recently conducted by the Indian Army, has received worldwide praise. This operation demonstrated India's clear and decisive policy against terrorism. However, criticism from some Pakistani artists regarding this historic step has become a subject of controversy. The statements made by popular Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, in particular, have sparked outrage.

Mahira Khan shared a post on social media, calling India's Operation Sindhur "shameful" and "aggressive." She also claimed that Pakistan is being condemned without evidence. Identifying herself as a "citizen of a free country," she sarcastically remarked on the difficulty of speaking freely in India.

Avinash Mishra's Sharp Rebuke

TV actor and Bigg Boss 18 fame Avinash Mishra responded sharply to Mahira Khan's comments. Through his Instagram story, he rebuked Mahira, writing, "Oh Mahira Didi, there's no need to blame Pakistan. The entire world has seen the evidence. When things calm down a bit, don't come asking for work in our India."

Avinash didn't stop there. He sarcastically praised Mahira for taking her country's side, stating that some Indian artists should learn from her, who remain silent out of fear of their followers and brands.

Silence is Cowardice, Not Neutrality – Avinash's Warning

Avinash also criticized Indian celebrities who remained silent on this crucial national issue. He said, "Artists from across the border who earned their name, fame, and money from India are now calling the country's anti-terrorism operation 'cowardice.' And our own celebrities are silent. This silence is not neutrality, it's cowardice."

He further stated that those who cannot speak out in support of the country due to concerns about their brands or followers should stop pretending to be patriotic.

Reactions and Controversy from Pakistani Artists

Mahira Khan is not the only one who objected to Operation Sindhur. Fawad Khan, Humaima Malick, and several other Pakistani artists have also made negative comments about India's military operation. Some even labeled it an act against humanity. However, in India, this operation is being viewed as Surgical Strike 2.0, signaling India's zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism.

Before Avinash Mishra, several well-known artists criticized the statements made by Pakistani artists. TV actress Rupali Ganguly openly stated that artists who received love and fame from the Indian public are now spewing venom against India, which is extremely sad and shameful.
