Hyderabad: ISIS-Linked Terror Plot Foiled, Two Arrested

Hyderabad: A major terrorist plot has been thwarted in Hyderabad. In a joint operation by Andhra Pradesh and Telangana police, two ISIS-linked terrorists have been arrested. The suspects were planning a large-scale bomb blast in Hyderabad. Police recovered explosive materials intended for bomb-making from their possession. This incident has heightened counter-terrorism vigilance across the nation.

Terrorist Plot Unveiled

According to police, 29-year-old Suraj Urr Rahman and 28-year-old Saeed Samir were preparing for a bomb blast in Hyderabad. Both are linked to the terrorist organization ISIS, and police suspect they were in contact with ISIS leaders based in Saudi Arabia. Their arrests have exposed a significant terrorist plot, delivering a major success for security agencies across Hyderabad and the country.

Joint Police Operation

Telangana and Andhra Pradesh police collaborated on this successful operation. Suraj Urr Rahman was initially apprehended in Vizianagaram. During interrogation, he revealed the entire conspiracy and named Saeed Samir. Subsequently, police arrested Saeed Samir in Hyderabad. A significant quantity of bomb-making materials, including ammonia, sulfur, and aluminum powder, were recovered from both suspects.

Bomb-Making Materials Recovered

The explosive materials recovered from the suspects included ammonia, sulfur, and aluminum powder – all substances used in bomb construction. Police have apprehended both suspects, enhancing security measures, and will soon present them in court.

Increased Stringency Against Terrorism

Following Operation Sindhur, there has been considerable disruption among Pakistan and terrorist organizations. Indian security agencies have heightened vigilance nationwide. All state police forces have been placed on high alert to preemptively thwart any potential terrorist plots.

Arrest of Intelligence Agents

Earlier, six individuals, including YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra, were arrested in various parts of the country. They were accused of being ISIS intelligence agents and transmitting sensitive Indian information to Pakistan. These individuals, including Jyoti, posed a significant threat to India's security. These arrests have dealt a major blow to the terrorist network.
