Rajnath Singh: The terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, has shaken the entire nation. The attack claimed 26 lives, including two foreign nationals. High-level meetings have been held from Srinagar to Delhi following the attack. Meanwhile, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, in a b statement, asserted that the government would certainly retaliate against this cowardly attack and would not rest until the masterminds are apprehended.

What did Rajnath Singh say?

The Defense Minister said, "The cowardly act perpetrated by terrorists yesterday in Pahalgam, targeting a specific religious community, resulted in the loss of many innocent lives. I want to assure the countrymen that the government will take every necessary step. We will reach not only those responsible for this incident but also the masterminds behind the scenes."

He also stated that the terrorists would soon receive a clear and b response, which "the world will see."

Amit Shah's message

Expressing grief over the attack, Home Minister Amit Shah stated that India will never bow before terrorism. The perpetrators of this barbaric attack will not be spared.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's reaction

Prime Minister Narendra Modi bly condemned the attack, stating that those behind it would not be spared. He conveyed his condolences to the families who lost loved ones and wished for a speedy recovery for the injured. He affirmed that the terrorists' nefarious agenda would never succeed and that India's resolve against terrorism would be further strengthened.

Investigative agencies have identified three terrorists involved in the attack – Asif Fauji, Suleman Shah, and Abu Talha – and have released their sketches.
