Under Operation Sindur, the Indian Army launched strikes against terrorist bases in Pakistan and PoK. Several leaders, including Lalu and Tejashwi Yadav, lauded the Army's actions.

New Delhi: The surgical strikes conducted by the Indian Army against terrorist bases in Pakistan and PoK (Pakistan-occupied Kashmir), codenamed 'Operation Sindur,' are receiving widespread praise across the nation. This action by the Army once again demonstrates India's firm and decisive stance against terrorism.

Lalu Yadav's Appreciation

Responding to the Army's operation, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav wrote on social media, "Jai Hind! Jai Hind ki Sena!" (Hail India! Hail the Indian Army!). This is the first time he has given such a clear and direct response to a military operation.

Tejashwi Yadav Says, 'End of Terrorism and Separatism is Necessary'

Former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav, also praised the strikes, stating, "Jai Hind! Jai Bharat! Neither terrorism nor separatism should remain! We are proud of our brave soldiers and the Indian Army."

Reactions from Other Leaders

Union Minister Chirag Paswan wrote, "Satyamev Jayate! Jai Hind ki Sena." (Truth Alone Triumphs! Hail the Indian Army.) Bihar's Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha stated, "This is the answer to the 56-inch chest. The day of the Pulwama attack, it was decided that terrorists would no longer be spared."

Former Union Minister Shahnawaz Hussain also praised the Army, saying, "Jai Hind! Jai Hind ki Sena! Proud of India."

The Army's Surgical Strikes

According to the Ministry of Defence, the operation targeted terrorist organizations Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba, not the Pakistani Army. News agency PTI reported that the Army destroyed Jaish's headquarters in Bahawalpur and Lashkar's base in Muridke.

Bahawalpur is the same area where Masood Azhar, released in 1999, laid the foundation of Jaish-e-Mohammed. Muridke, located 30 kilometers from Lahore, is considered the bhold of Lashkar-e-Taiba, held responsible for the 26/11 attacks.
