Three Killed, Eighteen Injured in Madhya Pradesh Bus Accident
MP Accident News: A serious road accident occurred on Friday night in Shajapur district, Madhya Pradesh. A private bus collided with a truck, resulting in the bus falling into a deep ditch. The accident claimed three lives and left eighteen others injured, three of whom are in critical condition. The incident took place at around 2:30 AM on the Maksi bypass road. Following the accident, police initiated rescue operations and admitted all the injured to the hospital.
Cause and Time of the Accident
The accident occurred when a private bus traveling from Indore towards Guna collided with a truck on the Maksi bypass road. After the collision, the bus lost control and fell into a ditch approximately 30 feet deep. According to Maksi police station in-charge, Bheem Singh Patel, the accident happened around 2:30 AM. The bus driver, Gulab Sen; the truck's cleaner, Bhanwar Singh; and a passenger, Aman Chaurasia, died at the scene.
Treatment of the Injured Ongoing
Upon receiving information about the accident, the police immediately launched rescue operations. A crane was used to lift the bus, and all the injured were sent to the hospital. Of the eighteen injured, three are in critical condition. All injured individuals are receiving treatment, and a team of doctors is providing them with comprehensive medical assistance.
High Speed Cited as Cause of Deaths
Preliminary investigations suggest that the high speed of both vehicles may have been the main cause of this accident. After the accident, the police arrived at the scene and took necessary action. Maksi police safely rescued all the injured and recovered their belongings.
Case Registered, Investigation Underway
Police have registered a case regarding the accident and the investigation is ongoing. Experts are also being consulted to ascertain the causes of the accident. Post-mortems have been conducted on the deceased, and the investigative process has commenced.
