India Pakistan Tension: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has made a startling revelation in Delhi, arresting a CRPF jawan accused of sending sensitive Indian intelligence to Pakistan. Reports indicate that the apprehended jawan established contact with Pakistani intelligence agents through social media. He subsequently relayed sensitive information to Pakistan in exchange for money. This operation, dubbed 'Operation Sindur,' is focused on tracking and acting upon espionage cases nationwide. Recently, YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra was also arrested under this operation, accused of providing intelligence to Pakistani agents.

Social Media: A New Hub for Espionage

According to information received, the CRPF jawan contacted agents based in Pakistan through social media platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, and others. The agents paid him to gather sensitive information about India, including locations of security installations and army movements. The jawan reportedly transmitted this information multiple times.

CRPF Dismisses Jawan; NIA Launches Investigation

Following the arrest, the CRPF dismissed the jawan. The NIA team is actively interrogating him. The investigation aims to determine if others were involved in this network. The jawan is being questioned about the volume of information shared with Pakistan, the frequency of payments received, and the identities of any accomplices.

Several Spies Apprehended Under Operation Sindur

This is not an isolated incident. Operation Sindur has led to the apprehension of several spies across the country. YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra's case has also attracted significant attention. Malhotra is accused of contacting Pakistani intelligence agents through the Pakistan High Commission and providing them with sensitive information about India.
