Prashant Kishor urged the people of Bihar to vote not for Lalu, Nitish, or Modi this time, but for establishing people's rule in Bihar and for the education and employment of their children.

Bihar News: Bihar's political landscape has heated up once again. Prashant Kishor, founder of the Jan Suraj Party and a political strategist, made headlines with his outspoken statements at a public meeting in Mahanar. Kishor explicitly stated that the people of Bihar should learn from Lalu Prasad Yadav about prioritizing children's well-being. He pointed out that Lalu is trying to make his son, Tej Pratap Yadav, a leader, despite his lack of educational qualifications (failing to complete class 9). In contrast, ordinary Biharis educate their children up to matriculation, BA, and MA levels, yet job opportunities remain scarce.

Kishor made an emotional appeal to the public, urging them to vote neither for Lalu, Nitish, nor Modi, but for establishing people's rule in Bihar. He argued that the state's backwardness stems from the flawed policies and corruption of its leaders. He urged people to vote for their children's future, focusing on their education and employment.

"Bihar's officials and leaders are looting the public"

Kishor launched a scathing attack on Bihar's administration, alleging that officials and leaders are exploiting the public. He claimed that bribery is rampant, from obtaining ration cards to land registry documents. He asserted that the system won't change until people stop voting for leaders involved in such exploitation.

Kishor stated, "This time, vote for a leader who can educate your children, establish schools in your villages, and provide employment to your youth. A true leader is one who cares about the future of your children."

He questioned why, if Lalu is so concerned about his son's future, ordinary Biharis aren't equally concerned about their own children. "Your children are sitting at home with degrees, yet you vote in the name of Lalu, Nitish, or Modi. Change your decision this time."

Prashant Kishor's promised schemes

Kishor made significant promises to the people of Bihar. He stated that if his party comes to power, every man and woman above 60 years of age will receive a monthly pension of ₹2000 from December 2025. Additionally, children under 15 will receive free education in private schools to ensure quality education for children from poor families.

Regarding employment, Kishor pledged that youth won't have to leave their villages and homes. They will receive wages of ₹10,000-₹12,000 within Bihar, enabling them to live with their families with dignity.

He concluded, "Bihar needs real development. The youth here are migrating because governments only deliver speeches, not solutions. This is the time for change."

Enthusiastic welcome in Mahanar, widespread public support

Kishor's visit to Mahanar was met with a warm welcome in several locations. He received enthusiastic receptions at various places including Jadhua Mod, Bidupur Gandhi Chowk, Checher Museum, Chandpura, and Bilt Chowk. Crowds showered him with flowers and garlands, chanting slogans like "Bihar Badlega" (Bihar will change).

Addressing the crowds, Kishor emphasized that this is not just a political battle but a fight for Bihar's future. He stated that change in Bihar's politics will only come when people stop voting along caste and religious lines and instead vote with their children's future in mind.

Indirect attack on the Lalu family

Kishor indirectly targeted the recent turmoil within the Lalu family, particularly the controversy surrounding Tej Pratap Yadav and his alleged love affair. He stated that Lalu wants to make his son a leader, regardless of his qualifications. However, he noted that there are no plans for the children of ordinary Biharis who are sitting at home with degrees. He stressed that the people of Bihar must understand who truly cares about their children and who only thinks about their own family.
