Amidst ongoing family and political tensions surrounding Tej Pratap Yadav, a wave of joy has swept through the home of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav. Lalu Prasad has become a grandfather for the second time, as his younger son, Tejashwi Yadav, has welcomed his second child – a son.
Patna: Tejashwi Yadav, a prominent figure in Bihar's politics and leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), has become a father for the second time. This time, he has been blessed with a son. His first child, daughter Katyayani, was born in 2023. The arrival of his son has not only brought festive cheer to the Yadav family but also immense joy to party workers and supporters.
Son's Birth Announced on Social Media
Tejashwi Yadav shared the news of his son's birth on Tuesday morning via social media platforms 'X' and Facebook. He also shared a picture of his newborn son, writing, "Good morning! The wait is finally over. I am incredibly grateful, blessed, and happy to announce the arrival of our little son. Jai Hanuman!" Tejashwi's post quickly went viral, attracting a flood of congratulatory messages.
Son Born in Kolkata
According to reports, Tejashwi Yadav's wife, Rajshri Yadav, gave birth to their son at a renowned hospital in Kolkata. Both mother and child are healthy. Lalu Prasad Yadav and other family members had traveled from Patna to Kolkata on Monday, the day before the birth. The news of the son's arrival has created a positive atmosphere within the Lalu family, particularly after a recent serious family dispute.
The RJD's official social media account also extended its congratulations. "Heartiest congratulations to Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav on the arrival of his son and to National President Lalu Prasad Yadav on becoming a grandfather again. Congratulations and best wishes from the entire RJD family."
Tejashwi's sister, Rohini Acharya, also expressed her joy on her 'X' account, writing, "Lots of love and blessings to Junior Totoo." This 'Junior Totoo' refers to a childhood nickname of Tejashwi's.
Joy Amidst Political Storm
This family joy comes at a time when Tejashwi's elder brother, Tej Pratap Yadav, has been embroiled in controversy. Following the viral circulation of a picture and posts of Tej Pratap with a young woman, Lalu Yadav expelled him from the party and family. Lalu Prasad publicly stated that Tej Pratap's personal conduct and irresponsible behavior were not in line with the party's image, and therefore he was suspended from the RJD for six years.
