Amidst India-Pakistan Tensions, Mir Yar Baloch Declares Balochistan's Independence on X and Appeals to the UN for a Peace Mission.

India-Pakistan Conflict: Amidst escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, a significant political declaration has captured global attention. Baloch writer and activist Mir Yar Baloch has formally declared the independence of Balochistan. He made this announcement on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) and appealed to the international community to recognize this decision.

Declaration of Balochistan's Independence

In his post, Mir Yar Baloch stated that Pakistan is a terrorist nation and is on the verge of collapse. He declared Balochistan an independent nation and appealed to the United Nations to recognize this declaration and accept Balochistan as an independent democratic republic.

The Baloch leader wrote, "We request India to allow the opening of a Balochistan embassy in Delhi. Furthermore, we urge the United Nations to send a peace mission to Balochistan and demand the complete withdrawal of the Pakistani army from the region."

Significant Demands from the United Nations

Mir Yar Baloch not only sought recognition but also requested the UN General Assembly to convene a special meeting to formally endorse Balochistan's independence. He has demanded billions of dollars in economic aid, assistance in printing passports, and establishing a monetary system.

Appeal for the Removal of Pakistan's Military from Balochistan

In his message, he called for the immediate withdrawal of the Pakistani army, ISI, Frontier Corps, and all non-Baloch personnel from Balochistan. According to the Baloch leader, a transitional interim government will soon be formed to take charge of independent Balochistan.

“The time has come to give the Baloch people their rights. Balochistan will now be governed by the Baloch, not by Pakistan,” — Mir Yar Baloch

War-like Situation Between India and Pakistan

The timing of this declaration is highly significant. It comes at a time when tensions between India and Pakistan are at their peak. Recently, Pakistan attempted to launch missile and drone attacks on Indian military installations. The Indian Air Force thwarted these attacks, but the incident has increased security concerns across the region.

On Thursday night, Pakistan attempted to target Indian installations in areas such as Jammu, Pathankot, Firozpur, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, and Jaisalmer, but these attempts were foiled by the vigilance of Indian security forces.
