Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan alleges that General Asim Munir, out of personal vendetta, implicated his wife, Bushra Bibi, in false cases and subjected her to inhumane treatment.

Pakistan News: Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has again leveled serious accusations against the army and the establishment. This time, he has directly attacked Pakistan's current army chief, General Asim Munir. Khan alleges that General Munir harbored a personal grudge ever since Khan removed him from the post of DG ISI during his tenure as Prime Minister, and this resentment is now being inflicted upon his wife, Bushra Bibi.

Revelations on X, Wife Targeted

Imran Khan, currently imprisoned in Pakistan, shared a lengthy post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). He wrote that while he was Prime Minister, General Munir attempted to contact his wife. However, Bushra Bibi refused any meeting. According to Khan, this sparked General Munir's resentment, which he retaliated against by harassing his wife.

Allegations of 14 Months Imprisonment and Inhumane Treatment

Khan claims his wife was unjustly imprisoned for 14 months and subjected to inhumane treatment. He stated that a homemaker with no political affiliations was repeatedly arrested solely due to personal animosity. No evidence has yet been presented to support the accusations against her.

Denied Visitation Rights

The former Prime Minister wrote that he has been denied access to his wife for the past four weeks. Despite being entitled to a visit on June 1st, according to prison regulations, this meeting was prevented, defying court orders.

Allegations of a 'London Plan' and the May 9th Incidents

Imran Khan's post also mentioned the events of May 9th, 2023, when attacks occurred on military installations in Pakistan. He claimed this was a completely "pre-planned conspiracy" executed under a "London Plan," aimed at eliminating the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party.

Claim of Imposed Political Opponents

Khan further stated that this conspiracy led to the illegal arrests not only of him but also of his party leaders and workers. He alleged that the mandate of the Pakistani people was stolen and "corrupt leaders" like Sharif and Zardari were imposed on the country again.

Continuous Questioning of Military Intervention

It is noteworthy that Imran Khan has been imprisoned for almost two years and has repeatedly accused the Pakistani army and the ruling coalition of crushing the country's democratic process. He maintains that every possible effort is being made to keep him and his supporters out of politics.
