Delhi-NCR Enjoys Pleasant Weather, While Other Parts of North India Face Fluctuating Conditions

Delhi-NCR is currently experiencing a respite from the heat, and pleasant weather is expected for the next few days. The weather is currently cool and comfortable, providing relief from the recent heatwave.

Delhi has been experiencing a period of relief from the heat for the past few days, with pleasant weather prevailing. However, the heat has intensified again in Uttar Pradesh, although the Meteorological Department anticipates relief soon. Meanwhile, rainfall is predicted for the mountainous regions of Uttarakhand, while humidity is expected to cause discomfort in the plains.

Several districts in Madhya Pradesh have been issued warnings of thunderstorms and rain. According to the Meteorological Department, the coming days will witness fluctuating weather conditions across northern and central India.

Pleasant Weather to Continue in Delhi-NCR

The weather in Delhi and the surrounding NCR region has been quite pleasant since last week. On May 9th, Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 35°C and a minimum temperature of 26°C. The Meteorological Department predicts temperatures to remain between 36°C and 38°C for the next few days. Light rain or drizzle is expected today, May 10th, further enhancing the pleasant weather.

Partly cloudy skies are anticipated on May 11th, with light sunshine potentially increasing the heat for a short period. However, the Meteorological Department forecasts clear skies with partly cloudy conditions from May 12th to 15th. During this period, the maximum temperature may hover around 38°C, and the minimum temperature around 28°C.

Rising Temperatures in Uttar Pradesh, but Relief Expected Soon

Most districts in Uttar Pradesh are experiencing a resurgence of heat and humidity. Maximum temperatures in cities like Lucknow, Prayagraj, and Varanasi have crossed 40°C, affecting daily life. However, the Meteorological Department predicts that relief is imminent. Rainfall is expected in several districts by May 11th.

Warnings have been issued for b winds and rain accompanied by lightning in eastern districts such as Ghazipur, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, and Kushinagar. Similarly, b gusty winds of 40-50 kilometers per hour are anticipated in Chitrakoot, Fatehpur, Prayagraj, Sonbhadra, and Varanasi.

Mountainous Regions of Uttarakhand to Experience Rainfall, Plains to Face Humidity

Intermittent rainfall has been observed in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand over the past few days, leading to a drop in temperature. Heavy rain and b winds with thunderstorms are likely in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh. The Meteorological Department has issued warnings for these districts. Partly cloudy skies are expected in the plains, including Dehradun, Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar, and Nainital; however, humidity may cause discomfort. The meteorological center anticipates a slight temperature increase in the coming days.

Thunderstorms and Rainfall Warning for Madhya Pradesh

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for thunderstorms and rain in several districts of Madhya Pradesh. Thunderstorms and rain are expected in Narmadapuram, Betul, Harda, Burhanpur, Khandwa, and Khargone. There is also a risk of lightning and b winds in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Ratlam, Mandsaur, Shajapur, Jhabua, Dhar, and Dewas.

Strong winds and light rain are also possible in the northern parts of the state, including Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Shivpuri, and Sagar districts. According to weather experts, these changes are due to a western disturbance and moisture from the Bay of Bengal.
