Karnataka Board Offers Two More Attempts for Failed 10th Graders

The Karnataka Board has provided two additional opportunities for 10th-grade students who failed the examination. The dates for Exams 2 and 3 have been released, along with the application deadline.

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has released the results for the 2025 10th-grade examination. This year, 62.34% of students passed the examination. However, there is good news for those who failed. The board has offered two more chances for these students to retake the examination. These will be conducted as Exam 2 and Exam 3.

Exam 2 and Exam 3 Dates

KSEAB has announced the dates for Exam 2 and Exam 3. Exam 2 will be held between May 26th and June 2nd, 2025, while Exam 3 will be conducted from June 23rd to June 30th, 2025. This provides students with another opportunity to improve their performance.

Application Process and Deadline

The deadline for applying for Exam 2 is May 16th, 2025, and for Exam 3, it is June 17th, 2025. Students can apply through their respective schools. The application process will be entirely school-based to ensure a smooth application experience for students.

Examination Time and Mode

Both examinations will be conducted offline; students will write the exams using pen and paper. The first language and other important subjects will be examined from 10:15 AM to 1:30 PM, while the second and third language exams will be held from 10:15 AM to 1:15 PM.

This Year's Pass Percentage and Toppers List

This year, over 800,000 students appeared for the examination, of which 62.34% passed. The pass percentage for the KSEAB 10th-grade examination is 9% higher than last year. Furthermore, a total of 22 students scored a perfect 625 out of 625 in the Karnataka Board's 10th-grade examination.
