A correction window is now open for candidates who made errors while filling out the UGC NET 2025 application forms. Candidates can now make the necessary corrections to their forms.

Education: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened a correction window for the UGC NET 2025 application forms. Candidates who made mistakes while filling out their forms can now rectify their information using this correction window. The correction window opened on May 14th and will remain open until May 15th, 2025, 11:59 PM.

Within this timeframe, candidates can make any changes or corrections to their applications. This process is crucial for all candidates who have applied to take the UGC NET exam but have errors in their forms.

Correction Window Details

To make corrections to the UGC NET 2025 application form, candidates must visit the NTA's official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. They will need to log in using their credentials. After logging in, they can make the necessary changes to correct their application form. They can correct fields where they have identified errors. However, it's important to note that changes will not be permitted in certain fields, such as name and date of birth.

The correction window can only be used until May 15th, so candidates must adhere to this deadline. After making corrections to the application, candidates should print and retain a copy of their corrected form.

How to Correct the Form

To correct the UGC NET 2025 application, follow these steps:

  • Visit the NTA website – First, candidates must go to ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
  • Log in – On the website's homepage, click on ‘UGC-NET June-2025: Click Here to Login.’ Candidates will be prompted to enter their registration number and password. Log in after entering this information.
  • Make corrections – Candidates must now select all fields requiring correction. Candidates can submit the form after correcting their information.
  • Print the form – After correcting the form, candidates should print and keep a copy for their records.

Exam Dates and Admit Cards

The UGC NET 2025 June session exam will be held from June 21st to June 30th, 2025. Candidates will need an admit card to participate in the exam, which will be available for download four days before the exam date. Additionally, the exam city intimation slip will be released 10 days prior, on June 11th, 2025, to inform candidates of their exam center.

Exam Pattern

The UGC NET exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam will have two papers:

  • Paper 1 – This will contain 50 questions and will be worth 100 marks.
  • Paper 2 – This will contain 100 questions and will be worth 200 marks.
  • Candidates will have a total of 3 hours (180 minutes) to complete both papers.

Paper 1 will consist of general aptitude, research aptitude, and general education questions, while Paper 2 will test the candidates' in-depth knowledge of their respective subjects. Therefore, candidates should prepare thoroughly for both papers.
