The deadline for applying for the Uttar Pradesh Polytechnic Entrance Examination 2025 has been extended to May 10th. This provides another opportunity for students who missed the previous deadline.

Education: The deadline for applying for the UP JEECUP 2025 (Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh Polytechnic) exam, which is held for admission to Polytechnic diploma courses in Uttar Pradesh, has been extended again. Interested students can now apply online until May 10, 2025. This is a golden opportunity for students who were unable to apply on time due to any reason.

This examination, conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education Uttar Pradesh (DTEUP), provides admission to various polytechnic institutes in the state. The application deadline was initially set for the end of April, but it has been extended to May 10th to accommodate students.

How to Apply?

Applications for the UP Polytechnic exam can only be submitted online. Candidates must apply through the official website jeecup.admissions.nic.in. Forms submitted through any offline medium or other platform will not be accepted.

Application Process

  1. First, visit jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
  2. Click on the Online Application Form Submission for JEECUP – 2025 link on the home page.
  3. Register via the Fresh Candidate Registration link.
  4. After registration, log in and upload other necessary information such as educational qualifications, address, photograph, signature, etc.
  5. Finally, submit the application fee online and keep a printout for future reference.

Application Fee

  • General, Other Backward Class (OBC), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) students must pay an application fee of ₹300.
  • The application fee for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories is ₹200.
  • Payment can be made through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.

Eligibility Criteria

  • To participate in the UP Polytechnic exam, students must meet the following eligibility requirements:
  • The student must have passed the 10th, 12th (10+2), BSc, BE, or BTech examination as per the relevant course.
  • The applicant must be at least 14 years old as of July 1, 2025. That is, the candidate must have been born before July 1, 2011.

Exam Dates

  • The UP JEECUP 2025 exam will be held between May 20 and May 28, 2025. The exam will be conducted for various groups - A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, L, and K1 to K8.
  • Admit cards will be available for download on the official website on May 14, 2025.
  • The result is expected to be declared on June 10, 2025.

Students are advised to complete the application process themselves to avoid additional expenses incurred through cyber cafes or other intermediaries. By following the instructions on the website, any student can easily fill out the form from home.
