Bomb Threat to Ayodhya's Ram Temple Triggers Statewide Alert in Uttar Pradesh

Following a bomb threat against the Ayodhya Ram Temple, threatening emails were also received by the DM offices of 10-15 districts in Uttar Pradesh. The police and administration have launched an investigation.

Ayodhya Ram Mandir News: A bomb threat against the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, has sent the police and administration into a state of alert. The threat was delivered via email to the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust. The email explicitly stated, "Increase security, otherwise the temple will be blown up with bombs."

Threatening Emails Received by DM Offices in 10-15 Districts

Not only Ayodhya, but also the official email accounts of District Magistrates (DM) in 10-15 districts of Uttar Pradesh received threatening emails. These emails threatened to bomb the Collectorates if security wasn't heightened. Districts like Barabanki, Chandauli, Firozabad, and Aligarh are among those reported.

Aligarh Collectorate Evacuated

Aligarh News: Following the threat to the Aligarh DM, the administration immediately evacuated the Collectorate. All gates were closed, and several security units, including Dog Squads and Bomb Detection Teams, arrived on the scene. The district administration has launched a thorough investigation of the entire premises.

Cyber Cell Investigating; FIR Filed in Ayodhya

Following the threatening email received by the Ram Mandir Trust, an FIR has been registered at the Ayodhya Cyber Police Station. The case has been assigned to the Cyber Cell. Preliminary investigations suggest the emails originated from Tamil Nadu.

Official Statement: No Demands Yet Revealed

Abhay Kumar Pandey, the Circle Officer of Aligarh, stated that no demands have been made yet. Currently, stringent security measures are in place, and further legal action will be taken after the investigation is completed.
