This operation was launched in retaliation for the Pulwama terror attack on April 22nd. Why is there increased fear in Pakistan?

High Alert in Border Areas, Control Centers Established

In response to Pakistan's heightened aggression, India has further strengthened its security apparatus in border areas. Control centers have been established in 10 districts of Kashmir, and the air defense system is on high alert.
