Former DGP Vaidya Urges India to Seize PoK Amidst Pakistan's Instability

Former DGP S.P. Vaidya asserts that Pakistan's situation is critical, its army weakened, making now the opportune time to claim PoK. He advocates for India to take the initiative.

Jammu Kashmir: Former Jammu and Kashmir DGP S.P. Vaidya has made a significant statement against Pakistan. He claims that the probability of Pakistan's disintegration has significantly increased, and this is the optimal time to assert India's claim over PoK (Pakistan-occupied Kashmir).

Pakistan's Internal Situation

According to S.P. Vaidya, the situation in Pakistan is deteriorating. The imprisonment of leaders like Imran Khan has fueled public resentment against the army's authoritarian rule. Vaidya stated that the Pakistani army is significantly weakened and feels insecure in areas like Balochistan.

A Better Opportunity Than Ever Before

He further added that the increasing instability within Pakistan and the desertion of police and army personnel from areas like Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) have greatly increased the risk of Pakistan's fragmentation. He believes Pakistan's disintegration into four parts now seems inevitable.

The Right Time to Claim PoK

S.P. Vaidya stated, "Our parliament has already resolved to make PoK a part of India. Considering Pakistan's current state, there couldn't be a better time to claim PoK."

The Illusion of a Self-Reliant Pakistan

He also pointed out a significant lack of coordination between the Pakistani army's top brass and the Prime Minister, asserting that the army effectively governs the country while the Prime Minister wields little power. Vaidya believes that if India were to launch an operation in Pakistan, the people would welcome the Indian army.
