HPBOSE Announces 12th Grade Results: 83.16% Pass Rate, Mehak Tops with 97.2%

HPBOSE 12th Result 2025: The Himachal Pradesh School Education Board (HPBOSE) declared the class 12th examination results on Saturday. A total of 86,373 students appeared for the examination, of whom 83.16% passed. Mehak from Una secured the top position in the state with 97.2% marks. Students can easily check their results on the board's official website, hpbose.org.

12th Class Result and Merit List

This year, a total of 86,373 students appeared for the Himachal Board's 12th examination. Of these, 71,591 students passed, 5,847 received compartmental examinations, and 8,581 students failed. The overall pass percentage was 83.16%.

The overall merit list includes 75 toppers, with 61 female and 14 male students. Private school students secured 35 positions, while government school students secured 40 positions.

Merit by Stream

  1. Science Stream: There are 48 positions, of which 30 are from private schools and 18 from government schools.
  2. Commerce Stream: Out of 21 positions, 13 are from government schools and 8 from private schools.
  3. Arts Stream: All 40 positions are from government schools.

Information about Toppers

Mehak from Una district topped the exams with 97.2% marks (486 out of 500). Ankita from Kangra district secured the first position in the Arts stream with 483 marks, while Payal Sharma from Kangra topped the Commerce stream with 482 marks.

Certificate Facility

The board has also made certificate copies available on DigiLocker for the examinees. This allows students to access their certificates digitally anytime, anywhere.

Re-evaluation and Re-checking Process

Students who wish to improve their results can apply online for re-evaluation and re-checking. Applications will be accepted on the board's website until June 1, 2025.

  • Re-evaluation fee: ₹1000 per subject
  • Re-checking fee: ₹800 per subject

Only applications from students who have scored at least 20% in the subject will be accepted. Only online applications will be valid; applications without fees will be rejected.
