Selection Process
The recruitment process announced by IOB will be completed in three stages:
Online Written Examination
- A total of 140 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked.
- The duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
- There will be negative marking of 1/4 mark for incorrect answers.
Language Proficiency Test
- Candidates will have to demonstrate proficiency in the local language of the selected state.
Personal Interview
- Candidates successful in the written exam and language proficiency test will be called for an interview.
- The passing marks in the exam are set at 35% for the general category and 30% for reserved categories.
Salary and Benefits
Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary between ₹48,840 and ₹85,920. In addition, they will be provided with other banking allowances such as HRA, DA, medical benefits, travel allowance, etc. Salary revisions will be implemented from time to time as per bank rules.
