The wait is almost over for the lakhs of students who appeared for the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) Class 10 examination. The board has announced the date for the declaration of the Madhyamik Pariksha results for 2025.
WBBSE 10th Result 2025: The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has finalized the date for announcing the Class 10 examination results. According to the notification released by the board, the Class 10 results will be declared on May 2nd, 2025, at 9:00 AM through a press conference. Immediately afterward, students will be able to check their results on the board's official website, wbbse.wb.gov.in.
Students can easily check their results online by entering their roll number. The board has urged all students to keep their essential documents, such as their roll number, ready before the results are released to access their results promptly.
Lakhs of Students Participated in the Examination
The board has stated that the results will first be announced at a press conference at 9:00 AM. Immediately afterward, students and parents will be able to view the results online. Students will have to enter their roll number on the board's official website, wbbse.wb.gov.in, to check their results. This year's West Bengal Board's Class 10 examination was held from February 10th to February 22nd, 2025.
This examination was conducted daily from 10:45 AM to 2:00 PM. Lakhs of students from government and private schools across the state participated in this examination.

As per the standards set by the board, students must obtain a minimum of 33 percent marks in each subject to pass. Students who score less than the stipulated marks in one or more subjects will have the opportunity to appear for the compartmental examination. Along with the release of the results, students will also be able to download their provisional marksheets. This marksheet will contain the following information:

- School Name
- Subject-wise Marks
- Total Marks Obtained
- Pass/Fail Status

Students can follow these steps to check their results:
- First, visit the wbbse.wb.gov.in website.
- Click on the Madhyamik Result 2025 link available on the homepage.
- On the new page, enter your roll number and date of birth.
- Upon submitting the information, your result will be displayed on the screen.
- You can download it in PDF format and also take a printout for future reference.
If the website slows down due to high traffic, students can also obtain their results through mobile browsers or SMS services. The board may release a separate SMS format and number for this, information about which will also be available on the website.
