National Loktantrik Party (RLP) chief and Nagaur MP, Hanuman Beniwal, staged a protest at Jaipur's Shaheed Smarak, demanding the cancellation of the SI recruitment exam. During the protest, he launched a scathing attack on the Congress party.
Hanuman Beniwal on Congress: Rajasthan's political landscape has once again heated up due to sharp statements and witty retorts. Nagaur MP and RLP convener, Hanuman Beniwal, targeted the Congress party in Jaipur, sharply satirizing its internal politics. Beniwal's statements during the protest demanding the cancellation of the SI recruitment exam have sent ripples through the state's political scene.
Congress Compared to ‘Draupadi,’ Leaders to ‘Husbands’
Comparing the Congress party's current state to Draupadi from the Mahabharata, Hanuman Beniwal stated, "Congress's situation is now like Draupadi's, who had five husbands. Here too, five people are calling themselves the groom." This jibe was aimed at senior Congress leaders and former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, senior leader Sachin Pilot, and state president Govind Singh Dotasra.
He added, "Gehlot claims he's the real groom of Congress, Pilot calls himself the groom, and Dotasra, with his gamcha (towel), isn't far behind. And then there's Julie (his sarcastic reference) also claiming to be the real hero of Congress. So, who is the real groom in the party? Who will get the ticket? The public is confused, and so is Congress itself."
Laughter at the Protest, but a Stern Message
A large crowd attended the protest at Jaipur's Shaheed Smarak. When Beniwal made the "five husbands" statement, the crowd erupted in laughter. However, the seemingly humorous remark highlighted the internal strife and leadership struggle within the Congress. Beniwal asserted that the leadership tussle among Congress leaders has made the party a laughingstock in the eyes of the public.
Currently, there is no single leader in Congress who can unite everyone. Everyone considers themselves the Chief Ministerial face. How will Congress address the problems of ordinary people in such a situation?
Serious Allegations Against Congress Regarding the Alliance
Beniwal also leveled serious accusations against Congress, citing past political relationships. He claimed that in 2018, when a common understanding existed between RLP and Congress, Congress betrayed them. He alleged that Congress deliberately conspired to weaken RLP and attempted to cause personal and political damage by inducting his brother, Ummedaram Beniwal, into the party.
Warning Congress, Beniwal stated that if the party believes it has become b in the state, it's mistaken. He asserted that the upcoming Panchayat Raj elections will expose their true nature to the public. He added that the public has understood Congress's conduct, character, and face. People are tired of dynastic politics, factionalism, and the lust for power, issues further aggravated by the current Congress leadership.
