SSC Announces Recruitment for 3131 Posts in CHSL 2025
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the recruitment process for 3131 positions under the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination 2025. Candidates with a 10+2 pass certificate are eligible to apply until July 18, 2025. The exam is scheduled to be held in September.
Key Dates for SSC CHSL 2025 Recruitment
Important dates related to the SSC CHSL 2025 recruitment have been released. Online applications opened on June 23, 2025, and the last date for application submission is July 18, 2025. The deadline for fee payment is July 19, 2025. Candidates can make corrections to their application between July 23 and 24. The Tier 1 exam will be conducted between September 8 and 18, 2025, while Tier 2 is tentatively scheduled for February or March 2026.

Eligibility Criteria – Educational Qualification and Age Limit
Candidates applying for the SSC CHSL 2025 exam must be 12th (10+2) pass from a recognized board. Furthermore, their age should be between 18 and 27 years as of August 1, 2025. Reservations for various categories will be granted as per government rules, providing age relaxation as applicable.
Application Fee Information
For General, OBC, and EWS category candidates, the application fee is ₹100. Applications are free for candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, ESM categories, and all women applicants. Payment can be made online through Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Net Banking.

The application process for SSC CHSL 2025 is entirely online. Interested candidates should follow these steps:

- Register as a New User (One-Time Registration – OTR) if required.
- Log in and fill out the Application Form after registration.

Exam Pattern and Selection Process
The SSC CHSL recruitment exam will be conducted in three tiers:
Tier 1: This will be a Computer Based Test consisting of four sections – General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language.
Tier 2: This will include a Descriptive Paper and a Typing/Skill Test.
Tier 3: Document Verification
The final merit list will be prepared based on the scores obtained in Tier 1 and Tier 2.
