Trump's Abrupt Exit from G7 Summit Amidst Iran-Israel Conflict Sparks Global Concern

Trump Abruptly Leaves G7 Summit Amidst Iran-Israel Conflict, Issues Tehran Evacuation Warning. Global Attention Focuses on US Role.

G7 Summit: Amidst escalating tensions between Iran and Israel in the Middle East, U.S. President Donald Trump unexpectedly left the G7 summit in Canada. He returned to Washington D.C. a day early. He also issued a warning for all individuals in Tehran to evacuate immediately. This development has significantly heightened the already precarious situation in the Middle East. Trump has adopted a hardline stance, blaming Iran for disregarding the nuclear agreement.

Trump's Sudden Departure from G7 Summit

During the G7 summit in Canada, U.S. President Donald Trump announced his abrupt departure, returning to the United States. This decision comes at a time of heightened conflict between Iran and Israel.

White House Press Secretary Carolyn Levitt confirmed the decision on social media, stating that President Trump was returning to focus on "escalating tensions in the Middle East and other critical matters."

However, during the summit, Trump did sign a significant trade agreement with the UK Prime Minister, Keir Starmer.

Tehran Evacuation Warning and Strong Stance Against Iran

Trump issued a sharp warning against Iran on the social media platform Truth Social, urging all individuals in Tehran to evacuate immediately due to rapidly deteriorating conditions.

He wrote, "Iran should have accepted the deal I offered. It's so sad that they didn't. Now, human life is being wasted. Iran must not get nuclear weapons. I have said this many times. Everyone should leave Tehran immediately."

America First Policy and Condemnation of Iran

In another post, Trump reiterated his "America First" policy, emphasizing that preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons is a crucial element. He stated, "America First means keeping America and the world safe. Preventing Iran from getting nuclear weapons is part of that. We will Make America Great Again."

Trump Rejects Joint G7 Statement

While other G7 nations called for de-escalation of the conflict between Israel and Iran, Trump refused to endorse a joint statement. Sources indicate that a draft statement appealing for peace and a ceasefire in the Middle East was prepared by the G7, but Trump made it clear he disagreed with its contents.

Macron's Positive Assessment

French President Emmanuel Macron offered a positive interpretation of Trump's actions, suggesting his aim was to establish a ceasefire in the Middle East. Macron told the media that, "In reality, President Trump has put forward a proposal to halt the conflict between Israel and Iran, aiming for a ceasefire and subsequent broader discussions."

Israel's Claims

Since Thursday night, Israel has launched airstrikes in Tehran. Iranian media reported explosions and activation of air defense systems in the capital.
