BJP MP Manoj Tiwari Warns YouTubers After YouTuber's Arrest for Alleged Spying

BJP MP Manoj Tiwari Warns YouTubers Following Jyoti Malhotra's Arrest

Jyoti Malhotra Case: Following the arrest of YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra by Hisar police in Haryana on charges of spying for the Pakistani intelligence agency (ISI), political reactions have intensified. On Thursday (May 22, 2025), the Hisar court remanded Jyoti to four days of police custody. Meanwhile, BJP MP and popular singer Manoj Tiwari has responded to the issue, offering specific advice to YouTubers and social media influencers in India.

"YouTubers Must Remain Vigilant, Just Like Soldiers"—Manoj Tiwari

In an interview with ANI, Manoj Tiwari stated that the investigation is ongoing and that it is important to wait for all the information to emerge. He said,

“I want to tell all YouTubers and digital creators in the country that nothing is greater than the nation. If at any moment you feel that someone is misusing the country through your platform, become alert immediately. Just as our soldiers and government remain vigilant, you must also be alert.”

Tiwari's statement serves as a warning to all social media influencers who, inadvertently or sometimes deliberately, handle sensitive national information carelessly. He clarified that every digital content creator must understand that they are also indirectly part of the nation's system.

Tiwari Also Criticizes Congress, Questions Their Patriotism

After reacting to the Jyoti Malhotra case, Manoj Tiwari also adopted a b stance on Congress leader Jairam Ramesh's statement. He said that Congress has always been at the forefront of questioning the country's security forces, and this attitude aligns with Pakistan's narrative.

“The way Congress demands evidence every time is the same way Pakistan's rulers speak. I am surprised that now Pakistan itself is providing evidence of the destruction of its airbase, yet Congress is raising questions.”

"Operation Sindur" and a Stern Warning to Terrorists

Manoj Tiwari praised Prime Minister Modi's recent actions and the government's policies, stating that India is no longer the country that tolerated terrorist attacks. He explained that following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, "Operation Sindur" was launched because the incident affected the honor of India's daughters.

“Now every terrorist will be punished, whether they are on this side or that side, wherever they are hiding, India will not leave them. The people of the country are with the Prime Minister and the army.”
