Following the Pahalgam attack, action was also taken against several Pakistani YouTube channels whose content was inflammatory against the Indian Army and security agencies. These channels were spreading false and misleading information, posing a threat to the nation's peace and unity.

The channels banned by India include prominent Pakistani channels such as Dawn News, Samaa TV, Geo News, and Bol News. The aim of banning these channels was to curb the spread of hate content against India and its institutions.

Other Significant Steps Taken by the Indian Government

The Indian government has taken other significant steps following the terrorist attack. A meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS), chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, decided to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri confirmed that India has decided to temporarily halt the treaty.
