Ceasefire Agreement Broken Hours After it was Made

India and Pakistan reached a significant ceasefire agreement on Saturday evening, under which both countries agreed to halt all military activities along the border. This decision was taken especially after the recent terrorist attack in Pehalgam. However, this peace lasted only a few hours. Reports indicate that drones were sighted from the Pakistani side in several areas, and now the firing incident in Nagrota has come to light.

Soldier Injured, Army Launches Search Operation

According to sources, suspicious movements were observed around the Nagrota army station. A security guard was injured in the firing. Following this, the Indian army has launched a search operation in the area to prevent any infiltration attempts. Drones launched from the Pakistani side were also spotted in the Nagrota area, raising significant concerns.

India Issues Strong Warning

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri bly condemned the ceasefire violation by Pakistan, stating that India is taking it very seriously. He said that India will not ignore incidents like drone activity and firing in border areas. He also clarified that the Indian army is fully prepared and will respond at the same level if necessary.

Appeal to Pakistan to Exercise Restraint

India urged Pakistan to act responsibly and maintain peace along the border. "India desires peace, but there will be no compromise on the country's security," the Foreign Secretary said.
