The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (BSER) will declare the results of the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2024 today, May 8, 2025. The results are expected to be released at 3:15 PM.
REET Result 2024: The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) officially declared the results of the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2024 at 3:15 PM on May 8, 2025. This examination determines eligibility for teaching positions in the state. This year's exam, held in February, saw participation from lakhs of candidates. Candidates can now check their results on the official websites reet2024.co.in or rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.
Examination Background and Participation
REET 2024 was conducted on February 27 and 28 in three shifts. The examination was held at 1731 exam centers spread across 41 districts of Rajasthan. A total of 15,44,518 applications were received, out of which 13,77,256 candidates actually appeared for the exam. Of these, 4,06,953 candidates appeared for Level 1 (classes 1 to 5) and 9,70,303 for Level 2 (classes 6 to 8).
Cut-off and Minimum Qualifying Marks
The minimum qualifying marks set by the board are as follows:
- General Category Male Candidates: Minimum 60% marks required
- SC, OBC, MBC, EWS: 55% marks
- Differently-abled candidates: 40% marks
- Widows and deserted women, Ex-servicemen: 50% marks
- ST and Sahariya tribe residing in TSP areas: 36% marks
Objection Resolution and Bonus Marks
The board released the answer key on March 19 and invited objections until March 31. After reviewing the objections, the final answer key was revised, and the results were prepared accordingly. This time, three questions were removed from Level 1, while two questions were removed from Level 2. Bonus marks have been awarded to all candidates for these removed questions.
Furthermore, seven questions were identified where two options were deemed correct. Marks have been awarded to all candidates who chose either of these options.
How to Check the Result?
Candidates can check their results in the following manner:
- Visit the website reet2024.co.in or rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.
- Click on the REET RESULT 2024 link on the homepage.
- A PDF file containing the list of all selected candidates will open.
- Press Ctrl+F to search for your name or roll number.
- Download the result and take a printout for future use.
Candidates who have obtained the minimum qualifying marks in REET 2024 will receive an Eligibility Certificate. This certificate will be mandatory for applying to future teacher recruitment examinations. The board will issue this certificate digitally, which candidates can download from their login portal.
