Samajwadi Party Expels Three MLAs for Anti-Party Activities and Support of Anti-People Policies. The party has clarified that there will be no compromise on its ideology.
UP Politics: The Samajwadi Party (SP) has expelled three of its MLAs. The expelled MLAs are Abhay Singh (Gosaiganj), Rakesh Pratap Singh (Gauriganj), and Manoj Kumar Pandey (Unchahar). The party has accused them of promoting communal and divisive politics, and supporting policies detrimental to farmers, women, youth, and businesses.
SP Releases Statement
The Samajwadi Party, in a statement released on its official social media handles, explained that the party's ideology is based on harmonious and positive politics. However, these MLAs were supporting negative politics and an ‘anti-people’ mindset, which contradicts the party's core principles. Therefore, the party decided to expel them in the public interest.
Time for Rectification Provided
The SP's statement also mentioned that these MLAs were given a chance to rectify their actions. The party provided them with a “grace period” to reconsider their activities. However, no positive changes were observed even after the deadline, leading to this decisive action.
Strict Action to Continue
The SP has made it clear that any activity against the party's core principles will not be tolerated. The party stated that strict action will be taken against any leader or worker involved in anti-people ideologies or activities. The party is committed to maintaining its credibility among its supporters and the public.
