SBI, PNB, and other banks have confirmed that ATM and digital services are fully operational. Customers are advised to contact toll-free numbers to avoid misinformation.

India Pakistan Conflict: Amidst rising tensions between India and Pakistan, some customers reported disruptions in banking services. Major banks have subsequently issued official statements to address these concerns. The State Bank of India (SBI), Bank of Baroda (BOI), Punjab National Bank (PNB), and other leading public sector banks have reassured their customers that all their ATMs (ATM), Cash Deposit Machines (CDM), and digital services are fully operational and available to the public.

Clarification on ATM and Digital Service Status

SBI released a statement on its official social media platforms clarifying that banking ATMs and digital services are functioning normally. This statement was issued in response to rumors circulating on social media about disruptions in bank services. The bank urged its customers not to believe unverified information and to contact their nearest branch or toll-free number for any issues.

According to SBI's website, they have over 64,000 ATMs/ADWMs across the country, offering 24-hour cash withdrawal and cardless transaction facilities. Furthermore, other public sector banks such as Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank, and Bank of India have made similar appeals to their customers, assuring them that all their digital services are operational without interruption.

Similar Statement Issued by Indian Oil

IOC stated that there is no need for panic buying of fuel and that fuel is readily available at all outlets. This statement came in response to rumors spreading on social media suggesting fuel shortages at petrol pumps due to the prevailing situation.

What to Do: Avoid Rumors

If you experience any issues with banking services, contact your nearest bank branch or use the toll-free numbers without hesitation.
