Sukhu Government Announces Transfers of 24 HAS Officers in Himachal Pradesh
Himachal SDM Transfer: The Himachal Pradesh government on Sunday announced the transfer of 24 Himachal Administrative Services (HAS) officers. This reshuffle includes nine Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs). Additionally, the state government transferred additional secretaries, project directors, registrars, managing directors, and officers associated with the Information Commission. This administrative reshuffling is expected to play a significant role in the state's development and operational efficiency.
Key Changes in the Transfer List
The state government has made several significant changes in the appointment and transfer of officers. Some key officers have been assigned new responsibilities. Naresh Thakur, the Secretary of the State Transport Authority, has been appointed as the Director (Personnel and Finance). Nishant Thakur, Additional Secretary (Education), has been given additional charge as Additional Secretary (Revenue-DMC) and Project Director, Programme Management Unit (SDMF).
New Appointments and Changes
Dr. Jitendra Kumar has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Himachal Pradesh Khadi and Gramodyog Board, Shimla. This appointment relieves Prashant Sarakak of his additional charge. Meanwhile, Gyan Sagar Negi, Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister and Managing Director of Himfed, has been appointed as the Registrar of Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla.
Dr. Sonia Thakur, Secretary of the State Information Commission, has been appointed as Additional Director, Rural Development Department and Urban Development. Further, Shashi Pal Negi, AC to DC Kullu, has been appointed as the Registrar of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University, Mandi.
SDM Transfers and New Postings
Significant changes have also been made in the postings of Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs). Vikas Shukla, SDM Kullu, has been appointed as SDM Sujanpur. Similarly, Pankaj Sharma, SDM Banjar, has been given the responsibility of SDM Kafota, Sirmaur district.
Nishant Tomar, SDM Rampur, has been appointed as SDM Banjar, while Sankalp Gautam, AC to DC Lahaul Spiti, has been posted as SDM Baijnath. Devi Chand, SDM Baijnath, has been appointed as AC to DC Shimla.
Additionally, Manoj Kumar, SDM Udaipur, has been appointed as Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Una, and Sanjeev Kumar, SDM Bharmaur, has been appointed as Deputy Secretary to the Chief Minister.
Alisha Chauhan, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as SDM Udaipur.
