Increased Inflationary Burden due to Milk Price Hike
The increased milk prices in Himachal Pradesh have significantly impacted consumers' budgets. Following this increase, milk prices have risen from ₹62 to ₹64 per liter. This increase not only affects household expenses but could also impact the sales of milk producers.
What are the reasons?
The main reasons for this increase may be the rise in milk production costs and changes in demand. Furthermore, increased consumption by FIIs and domestic industries could also be a contributing factor to the milk price increase.
