Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak and Akhilesh Yadav's social media spat intensifies. Pathak questioned SP's DNA, reminding them of mafia, riots, and scams.
UP: Uttar Pradesh's political landscape is currently witnessing a heated exchange of words. The verbal battle between Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak and Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav on social media is escalating. This time, the issue is not a political one, but directly concerns the Samajwadi Party's "DNA." Brajesh Pathak has openly raised questions and attempted to corner Akhilesh Yadav on several issues.
Brajesh Pathak Targets Akhilesh Yadav
On X (formerly Twitter), Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak targeted Akhilesh Yadav, stating that instead of answering his question, Yadav posted a lengthy thesis. He suggested this thesis was likely written by someone else and posted by Akhilesh without reading it.
Pathak sarcastically remarked, "The answer you wrote was a question of Political Science, but you answered it with the key to Home Science." This implied that Akhilesh Yadav had attempted to evade the real issue.
Why the Question about "DNA"?
Brajesh Pathak repeatedly questioned the Samajwadi Party's DNA, claiming that its core involves crime, riots, and corruption. He questioned why Akhilesh Yadav was avoiding this question.
He stated that the mention of the Samajwadi Party's DNA brings to mind incidents like the Muzaffarnagar riots, Atiq Ahmed, Mukhtar Ansari, the firing on Karsevaks during the Ram Mandir movement, the Gomti Riverfront scam, and the mining scams.
Pathak explicitly stated, "You keep changing the goalpost to avoid the real question. But by doing so, you are only exposing yourself."
"If There's No Answer, Admit It"
In his post, Brajesh Pathak advised Akhilesh that if he has no answer to this question, he could apologize and end the matter. He wrote, "Admitting a mistake when there is no answer is a sign of a healthy tradition."
He further wrote that if Akhilesh wishes, he could have a thesis prepared on the Samajwadi Party's DNA and send it to him. This, he suggested, would help Akhilesh avoid confusion and recognize the truth.
Samajwadi Party's Past Recalled
Brajesh Pathak reminded Akhilesh of several past incidents related to his party:
- The influence of mafias like Atiq Ahmed and Mukhtar Ansari within the party
- The Muzaffarnagar riots
- Firing on Karsevaks during the Ram Mandir movement
- The Gomti Riverfront and mining scams
He stated that all these incidents reflect the true character of the Samajwadi Party.
Invitation to Janata Darshan
Brajesh Pathak invited Akhilesh to attend his Janata Darshan program if he had any questions about his department's work. He mentioned that he meets hundreds of people daily and resolves their problems.
Furthermore, he also mocked the Samajwadi Party's "108 ambulance service," whose poor condition had been acknowledged by Samajwadi Party ministers themselves.
Brajesh Pathak stated that if Akhilesh Yadav still has any curiosity, he can ask without hesitation. He wrote, "I am always ready to dispel your doubts."
