The army reported that three Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists were encircled as part of a special operation on Tuesday morning. During the encirclement, the terrorists opened fire, prompting retaliatory action from the security forces, resulting in the elimination of all three terrorists.

This group is not directly linked to the Pahalgam attack, but security forces are also searching for the terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack. Since the Pahalgam attack, the army and security agencies have been working on an aggressive strategy against terrorists.

Increased Counter-Terrorism Operations Following Operation Sindhur

In response to the Pahalgam attack, India launched Operation Sindhur, targeting terrorist bases across the Pakistan border. Following these actions, special operations are being conducted to eliminate terrorist elements within Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces are conducting continuous search operations in areas like Shopian, Pulwama, and Anantnag.

Search for Pahalgam Attack Culprits Continues

The terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22nd shocked the entire nation. The attack resulted in the death of 26 innocent tourists and injured 14 others. Responsibility for the attack was claimed by The Resistance Front (TRF), a group affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba.

Security agencies have identified three Pakistani terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack. Posters with their pictures have been released, offering a reward of ₹20 lakh for information leading to their arrest. These posters have been displayed in public places across various areas, including Shopian.

Army's Message

The army has made it clear that its b action against terrorism will continue. Following Operation Sindhur, security forces within the valley are working rapidly to eliminate the terrorist network from its roots.
