Pakistan Minister Claims Imminent Indian Military Action

Pakistan's Minister Ataullah Tarar claims India may launch military action within the next 24-36 hours. He stated that Pakistan possesses credible intelligence inputs supporting this claim.

Pakistan: Following the Pulwama terror attack, Pakistan is once again attempting to garner international sympathy. Having failed to control terrorism, Pakistan is now conversely accusing India. Pakistan's Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Ataullah Tarar, claimed in a statement on Tuesday that India might undertake military action within the next 24-36 hours.

Tarar stated that Pakistan has "credible intelligence" suggesting India is preparing a retaliatory action against terrorism. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, "India is plotting an attack on Pakistan under the pretext of the Pulwama attack."

Accusations against India; Portraying Pakistan as Peace-Loving

Tarar asserted that Pakistan has always been a victim of terrorism and has condemned it on every platform. He also claimed that Pakistan offered a neutral investigation, which India rejected, and is now pursuing a "path of confrontation."

Ishaq Dar's Admission

Meanwhile, a statement by Pakistan's Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, is also under scrutiny. He himself admitted in parliament that the UN Security Council removed the name of TRF, a Lashkar-e-Taiba branch, from its statement. This statement itself proves that Pakistan continues to provide cover for terrorists.

Shehbaz Sharif's Appeal to the UN

In this entire matter, Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also contacted UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres by phone. He dismissed the allegations against India as baseless and demanded an impartial investigation into the Pulwama incident.

Sharif wrote on X, "Rejecting India's baseless accusations. Pakistan desires peace, but if challenged, we will defend our sovereignty with full force."
