Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU) officially released the admit cards for the examination on May 21st, 2025. B.Ed Entrance Exam on May 28th

The Bihar B.Ed Common Entrance Test (CET) will be conducted on May 28th, 2025. The exam will be held in 10 major cities across the state—Patna, Gaya, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Bhagalpur, Chapra, Purnea, Madhepura, Munger, and Hajipur. The exam will be held on the same day at all centers, and the results will be announced on June 10th, 2025.

How to Download the Admit Card

The admit card download process is quite simple. Candidates can follow the steps given below:

  • Click on the "Download Admit Card" link on the homepage.
  • Enter your login ID and password.
  • Your admit card will appear on the screen after logging in.
  • Download the admit card and take a printout to bring to the examination.

Exam Pattern

The Bihar B.Ed entrance exam will consist of a total of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each question will carry 1 mark, and the total exam time will be 2 hours (120 minutes). There is no negative marking in the exam.

Subject-wise Distribution of Questions

The exam will include questions from the following subjects:

  1. General English Comprehension (B.Ed program): 15 questions
  2. General Sanskrit Comprehension (Shiksha Shastri program): 15 questions
  3. Hindi: 15 questions
  4. Logical and Analytical Ability: 25 questions
  5. General Awareness: 40 questions
  6. Teaching-Learning Environment: 25 questions

Passing Criteria

Minimum marks have been set to pass the Bihar B.Ed exam:

  • Unreserved Category (General): At least 42 marks (35%)
  • All other categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Divyang/Women): At least 36 marks (30%)

Achieving these minimum marks is mandatory for candidates to be eligible for the counseling process.
