Result Date Announced

According to the NTA, the NEET UG 2025 result will be released on June 14, 2025, along with the final answer key. The final answer key will be the basis for the result declaration.

Objection Fee

Students dissatisfied with any answer in the answer key can submit objections within the deadline by paying a fee of ₹200 per question. This fee must be paid online.

Changes in Tie-Breaking Rules

  • New tie-breaking rules have been implemented for NEET UG 2025 if two or more students score the same marks.
  • Students with higher marks in Biology (Botany and Zoology) will be given preference.
  • If the scores remain tied, students with higher marks in Chemistry will be prioritized.
  • Next, students with higher marks in Physics will be ranked higher.
  • If a tie persists, candidates with fewer negative markings will be preferred.
  • Furthermore, students with fewer negative markings in Biology will be ranked higher.

A record number of students appeared for NEET UG 2025 this year. Over 2.1 million students across the country participated in the NEET UG 2025 exam. The exam was held on May 4, 2025, at 4750 centers in 557 cities. This exam determines students' eligibility for admission to medical, dental, AYUSH, and other health sector courses.
