AI-based CCTV, Strict Security, and Mobile Phone Ban Implemented to Prevent Cheating in the 2025 B.Ed Entrance Exam. 15,912 Candidates Appeared at 21 Centers.
B.Ed Entrance Exam: The Bundelkhand University successfully conducted the combined B.Ed entrance examination across 21 examination centers in two shifts. This year, advanced technology was employed to prevent cheating. Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered CCTV cameras monitored candidates in examination halls, significantly reducing the possibility of malpractice. Approximately 15,912 candidates participated in this examination.
Strict Security and Regulations
Stringent security measures were in place at all examination centers. Candidates were allowed entry only after thorough checks. Instructors were also prohibited from carrying mobile phones or any other electronic gadgets into the examination hall. This strict arrangement aimed to ensure the fair and transparent conduct of the examination.
Strict Surveillance on Cheating with AI Technology
AI-based CCTV cameras installed at the examination centers were directly linked to Bundelkhand University's Integrated Command Control Center. If any candidate attempted to cheat during the examination, the AI system immediately alerted the control room. The control room then informed the respective examination center via hotline, and necessary action was taken against the offender. This system played a crucial role in enhancing the credibility of the examination.
Negative Marking Rule
The B.Ed entrance examination comprised 100 questions. Negative marking was implemented for incorrect answers. Under this rule, candidates faced a deduction of marks for incorrect responses, encouraging a focus on accuracy. This maintained the quality and fairness of the examination.
