50 Parks and Gardens Closed in Sensitive Areas of Kashmir
Of the 87 public parks and gardens in Kashmir, 48 have been closed. According to officials, this measure has been taken considering terrorist activities and the safety of tourists. The closed locations include both new and old parks located in remote areas of Kashmir. The administration has also stated that these security measures are temporary, and more locations may be added to the list if necessary.
Restricted Locations
Officials stated that the restricted areas include prominent locations such as Dachigam, Kokernag, Dushpatheri, Duksum, Synth Top, Achabal, Bangus Valley, Margund Top, and Tosamaidan. Tourist access to these areas has been restricted due to security threats.

These tourists bly condemned the terrorist attack and stated that no terrorist attack can stop tourism in Kashmir. One tourist said, "The attack in Pahalgam was a shameful act by Pakistan, but we will continue to visit Kashmir. Kashmir is our homeland, and we will never abandon it."
